ABOUT ME

Alexandra Yuan is a classical ballet dancer and visual artist who strives to merge her passions for art and science through medical research. She is inspired to pursue these interdisciplinary interests through Da Vinci's anatomical sketches of his dissections. She finds the hands-on aspect of surgery, such as marking facial proportions and suturing, to be a harmonious intersection between art and science. In her recreational time, she loves to paint portraits while listening to scientific podcasts on Spotify.
